Hot Creole Butter Steaks: A Fiery Feast

Ingredients

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

1 clove garlic, minced

2 tsp. OTSS Hot Créole Seasoning

¼ tsp. OTSS Smoked Paprika

1 sprig fresh thyme

2-4 Rib-Eye or Strip Steaks

OTSS Kosher Flake Salt

For Créole Butter:
For Steaks:
Directions
Season both sides of each steak with salt and fresh ground pepper. Set aside.
Combine softened butter, garlic, Hot Créole Seasoning, paprika, and fresh thyme leaves in a small bowl. Mix well and set aside.
Grill Steaks over high heat for about 3 minutes per side for medium-rare. (Cook longer for desired doneness: ~1 min. longer per side for medium, ~2 min. longer per side for medium well, ~3 min. longer per side for well.)
Remove steaks from the grill, cover loosely with foil, and rest for a few minutes.
Top each steak with a spoonful of Hot Créole Butter and serve immediately.
Recipe Note
Serve with crust bread, corn on the cob, baked potato, or green side salad.
