Ingredients

2 Sticks Cold Unsalted Butter, Diced

2 ¾ Cups Flour

1 ½ Cups Brown Sugar

2 tsp. Chinese Five Spice

1 tsp. Baking Soda

¾ tsp. Baking Powder

¼ Cup Molasses
-
8 Large Egg Yolks, Room Temperature

1 tsp. Kosher Salt
-
1 Cup Greek Yogurt, Room Temperature

Grated Zest & Juice of One Large Orange
Directions
Beat Butter and brown sugar until a light paste forms, add molasses and mix until combined. Add egg yolks one at a time beating and scraping bowl after each addition.
Sift flour, Chinese Five Spice, baking soda, baking powder and salt together.
Add half of flour mixture to butter mixture and mix until just combined. Mix in yogurt, orange zest and orange juice. Add remaining flour and mix until just combined.
Pour batter into greased and floured 9” x 12” baking dish and bake in 375° oven for approximately 30 minutes until light golden and toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
Cool cake for 10 minutes, then glaze cake.
Glaze:
Mix ¼ Cup Orange Juice, ⅓ Cup Sugar, 1 Cup powdered Sugar and 1-2 pinches Chinese Five Spice together until smooth.
