Cajun Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients

8 oz. (half a pound) of linguine
1 pound of cleaned and deveined shrimp
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 diced yellow onion
1-2 teaspoons of minced garlic (1-2 cloves of garlic)
1 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning (or more according to your taste)
1 can (14.5 oz) of diced tomatoes
½ cup of heavy whipping cream

Directions

Start by boiling half a pound of linguine.
In a separate pan, cook a pound of cleaned and deveined shrimp until pink. Move shrimp to plate.
To the same pan add a tablespoon of olive oil, along with a diced yellow onion, 1-2 teaspoons of minced garlic, and a teaspoon of Cajun seasoning (or more according to your taste).
Cook for a few minutes, then add a can of diced tomatoes and half a cup of heavy whipping cream. Let it simmer until it thickens and toss in cooked pasta, add the shrimp back in to the pan.

Recipe Note
