Peppers & Chilis

Like many other spices, peppers and chilis are grown all over the world. With each type you get different flavors and heat. The Scoville scale (SHU) is often used to measure the heat of a pepper. JalapeƱos measure 2,500 SHU, while the ghost Chili, considered the second hottest chili in the wold, has a rating of 1,000,000+ SHU.
